Compressed Air Quality

Compressed Air Quality

Compressed Air Quality

The required quality of breathing air is stated in European Standard EN12021 which provides information on the safe limits of potential contaminant gases within breathing air and to ensure that the life support gas of oxygen is of an adequate level. The quality of the air supplied to breathing apparatus should be tested at least once every 3 months and more frequently when the quality of the air supplied cannot be assured.

Duty of Care

All employers have a duty of care to their employees to ensure that the breathing air they are supplied with is adequate for the RPE they are using and safe to breathe. We carry out Air Quality Testing on: Breathable Air systems for RPE, Breathable Air fed from Portable Air Compressors, and compressed air quality used for manufacturing.

Monitoring

Using latest technologies and equipment, we can provide regular Monthly or Quarterly Air Quality Monitoring tests to provide evaluation over the year, or as part of an investigation into improvement standards after system upgrades or maintenance.

Certification

Every Compressed Air Quality Test carried out is supported with a certificate detailing the results of the test. Using automatically controlled tests to establish the levels of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oil, water and oxygen content we can meet or exceed the detection parameters of both EN12021:1998 and BS4275:1997, helping you to ensure the safety of your workforce and products.
