Self Contained Breathing Apparatus

Self Contained Breathing Apparatus

All wearers of tight fitting face pieces including positive pressure equipment must be face fit tested. Operators must be trained in its use and the equipment must be inspected prior to use and by a qualified person or engineer every month. The equipment must also be serviced in accordance with manufacturers recommendations annually, with additional inspections every 3 years, 5 years and 12 years by a qualified engineer. The cylinder must be tested every 5 years.

Training

Self Contained Breathing Apparatus training is carried out to City & Guilds standards by qualified engineers or fire service personnel with a wealth of experience and current accreditations. Training can be site specific if required and successful candidates will gain certification to use B.A. equipment.

Servicing

Our factory trained engineers can carry out monthly, quarterly or annual inspections on all types of Self Contained B.A. or Emergency B.A for HSE compliance. They carry an extensive range of spares for on site servicing or repairs. All equipment that is serviced or inspected is supported by a service log.

Certification

All equipment that is serviced, inspected or repaired is issued with individual identification, and a service/calibration label is attached detailing the next service due date. The equipment is also certified by our experienced and accredited engineers using specialist test and measurement equipment.
